This Privacy Policy explains how PRIMELIFE ("PRIMELIFE," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the PRIMELIFE mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who We Are
PRIMELIFE is operated by PRIMELIFE, based in Ontario, Canada. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at lucas@primelife.one.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Information you provide directly
- Account details such as name and email address when you create an account.
- Profile information such as age, height, weight, fitness goals, and dietary preferences.
- Content you log, including meals, workouts, habits, planner tasks, and notes.
- Messages and questions you send to Primo, our in-app AI coach.
Health and fitness data
- Nutrition data (calories, macronutrients, food entries).
- Training and activity data (workouts, steps, active calories).
- Recovery data (sleep, weight, body fat percentage).
- Data imported from Apple Health (HealthKit), only with your explicit permission.
Photos
- If you use photo-based food logging, images you capture are processed to estimate nutritional content.
Automatically collected information
- Device information such as device model, operating system version, and app version.
- Usage data such as features accessed and general interaction patterns, used to improve the App.
- Search queries you send to Primo that require external information lookup, used solely to generate a response to you and not retained for any other purpose.
3. Apple Health (HealthKit) Data
If you grant permission, the App reads and writes data through Apple HealthKit. We handle this data according to Apple's requirements:
- We do not use HealthKit data for advertising or marketing.
- We do not sell HealthKit data or share it with data brokers.
- We do not use HealthKit data for any purpose other than providing health and fitness features within the App.
- You can revoke HealthKit access at any time in your device's Settings.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide core App functionality, including tracking, your Prime Score, and personalized insights.
- Power Primo, your AI coach, so it can give context-aware coaching based on your data.
- Maintain and improve the App's performance and features.
- Process subscriptions and manage your account.
- Communicate with you about updates, support, and service-related matters.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. AI Processing (Primo)
Primo generates coaching by processing your relevant app data and messages. To do this, your data may be sent to third-party AI processing providers, including Gemini and OpenAI, solely to generate responses. These providers process the data on our behalf and are contractually restricted from using it to train their models or for their own purposes.
When you ask Primo a question that requires current or external information beyond your logged data, Primo may perform a web search to find relevant information before responding. In these cases, the text of your question (not your private logged health, nutrition, or personal data) may be sent to third-party search providers to retrieve search results. We do not send your account information, health data, or logged content as part of these search queries — only the relevant text of your question. Search results used to inform Primo's response may be summarized or cited in Primo's reply.
6. How We Store and Protect Your Data
Your data is stored using Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider, on secured servers. We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data against unauthorized access.
7. Sharing Your Information
We share information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers who help us operate the App (such as Supabase for storage, our AI providers for Primo, and search infrastructure providers used to retrieve information for Primo's responses), under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements, if we are required to disclose information by law or valid legal process.
- Business transfers, if PRIMELIFE is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case you will be notified.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent for specific data processing, such as HealthKit access.
- Export your data.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at lucas@primelife.one. You can also delete your account at any time within the App, which removes your associated data.
9. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
10. Children's Privacy
PRIMELIFE is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we learn we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it.
11. International Users
If you use the App from outside Canada, your data may be transferred to and processed in Canada or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App and update the "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated to you directly where required.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PRIMELIFE mobile application (the "App"), operated by PRIMELIFE ("PRIMELIFE," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use PRIMELIFE. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized account access caused by your failure to protect your credentials.
3. The Service
PRIMELIFE provides tools for tracking nutrition, training, recovery, and habits, along with an AI coach ('Primo') that delivers personalized insights based on your data. When relevant, Primo may also search the web to retrieve current or external information to answer your questions. Features, including your Prime Score, Primo's coaching, and any web-sourced information Primo provides, are provided for general informational and self-improvement purposes only.
4. Not Medical Advice
PRIMELIFE is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Primo's coaching, the Prime Score, nutritional estimates, and all other content are informational only and are not a substitute for professional advice from a qualified physician, dietitian, or healthcare provider.
This applies equally to any information Primo retrieves through web search. Information found through web search may be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or sourced from unreliable third parties. Primo's use of web search does not make its responses more authoritative or verified than any other content in the App, and you should independently verify any information that matters to your health decisions, regardless of its source.
Always consult a healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, exercise, or health routine. Never disregard professional medical advice because of something in the App. If you have a medical emergency, contact emergency services. You use the App's health and fitness guidance at your own risk.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
PRIMELIFE offers a free tier and paid subscription plans.
- Paid subscriptions are billed at [$16.99 USD/month or $89.99 USD/year] or the equivalent in your local currency, through your Apple App Store account.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
- Payments are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple according to their policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
We may change subscription pricing. Any price change will apply to future billing periods, and we will provide notice where required.
6. Free Tier Limits
The free tier provides access to core tracking with certain limits, such as a daily cap on Primo messages and image scans, and excludes certain features such as barcode scanning. We may adjust these limits over time.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or security.
- Use automated systems to access the App in a way that harms the service.
- Misuse Primo to generate harmful, abusive, or unlawful content.
8. Your Content
You retain ownership of the data and content you log in the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate and provide the service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, software, Primo, the Prime Score system, branding, and all related content, is owned by PRIMELIFE and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
10. Accuracy of Information
We strive to provide accurate nutritional and fitness estimates, but we do not guarantee accuracy. Calorie counts, macronutrient estimates, body fat readings, AI-generated insights, and any information retrieved through web search are approximations or third-party sourced content and may contain errors. You are responsible for verifying information that matters to your health decisions.
11. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PRIMELIFE and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or health outcomes, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version in the App and update the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
